1. About the app

Karmash is a personal finance tracker developed by Matvey Kimbar. The app is available on iOS. Some features require a paid subscription (Karmash Pro).

The app works offline. Your financial data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

2. Karmash Pro subscription

Karmash Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• No refunds are provided for the current subscription period upon cancellation

Available plans and current prices are displayed on the subscription screen in the app. Prices may vary by country and are set by Apple.

Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to your use of the app.

3. AI features

Karmash Pro includes AI-powered features (receipt scanner and AI assistant) powered by Google Gemini API. When you use these features:

• The app will ask for your explicit consent before sending any data to Google
• Receipt photos or text input are sent to Google's servers for processing
• Google processes the request and returns a result — no data is stored by Google beyond the request
• You can decline to use AI features at any time — all other app functionality remains available

4. Acceptable use

You may use Karmash for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent the subscription system

5. Your data and backups

Since all your financial data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for keeping backups. The app provides a built-in export feature for this purpose. We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, accidental deletion, or app uninstallation.

6. Third-party services

Karmash uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:

• RevenueCat — subscription management
• PostHog — anonymous analytics
• Google Gemini API — AI features (Karmash Pro only)

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Karmash is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or available at all times. The app is a tool to help you track your finances — it does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
